Ballinree was the venue for this U-10 league game between Ballymackey 'B' and Reacross U-10's with the visitors recording a four nil win in blustery conditions. Rearcross had wind advantage in the first half and opening the scoring after four minutes when Cathal Kennedy scored with a fine effort from out on the right. It was two nil two minutes later when Patrick Dawson linked up with Eoin Sheldon who knocked to the net from close range. Rearcross stretched the lead to three when Patrick Dawson's menacing corner kick delivery was deflected to the net by a luckless Ballymackey defender. Ballymackey piled on the pressure in the second half and were unlucky not to score early on, Colm Lenihan then made an excellent save midway through the half with a one handed block to deny the home side. Stephen Rochford wrapped it up for Rearcross late on with a well struck effort from in front of goal.
